Kia ora, I have recently joined this wonderful Roseneath community, and I have the privilege of teaching Year 5 & 6 in The Long Boat. I have spent the last 2 years teaching this age group and I love it. I have previously taught Year 3 & 4.

Roseneath School has made me feel welcome, from the staff, students and the families I have met. This school has a wonderful “feel”, it is tangible as you enter the gates.

We have relocated to Wellington, through a career move for my husband, no hardship as we love Wellington. We have spent a lot of time visiting over the last 4 years as my daughter was studying at Victoria University. My youngest daughter embarks on this journey this month too.

Prior to the move I lived in Taupō for 21 years, originally from North Wales. I met my kiwi husband whilst he was on his OE and moved back with him to Gisborne. I trained later in life through Waikato University and I have loved my teaching journey so far. I really enjoy building relationships with my students and their families, as well as the people I work with. Roseneath are a friendly bunch so that has been easy to do.

In my spare time I love to read, spend time with my family and friends, cook and enjoy a day at the beach.
